In Maths, we have been calculating the number of eggs carton needed to build a spacecraft. We have lots of things to consider when building a spacecraft, for example finding out the diameter, circumference, height, width, where to build it and how many egg cartons we need. We have been collecting egg cartons from the students in Hutt Intermediate. We are hoping that this project will be successful.

Pink Shirt Day!- Friday 17th of may
Speak up, stand together, stop bullying.
Pink shirt day began in Canada 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a peer was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. in Aotearoa, pink shirt day aims to create schools, workplaces and communities where all people feel safe, valued and respected.
At Hutt Intermediate we support pink shirt day by encouraging the students to wear pink and get behind the cause.
